The 60/40 rule is outdated? Strategist: Proper allocation to cryptocurrencies to beat inflation

With high inflation trending heavily into next year, Anastasia Amoroso, chief investment strategist at iCapital Network, said investors should focus on the asset that has been a standout performer this year - cryptocurrencies.

In a media interview on Thursday, Anastasia Amoroso argued that the traditional 60/40 rule is no longer enough to beat inflation and deliver returns. "What you may need to do is to take some of the 60% of your money invested in the stock market and take an allocation to cryptocurrencies. Only then will your portfolio have a chance of beating inflation."
